Biography

Catherine, known as Kate was born in New Jersey in 1869. She was the daughter of George (VanBrunt) Van Brunt (abt.1839-1915) and Hannah Sculthorpe (1843-1929)[1] She married Frank Woolley (1870-1919) in 1890 in Hamilton, New Jersey.[2] In 1894, she had a son who died young. [3]She had 3 living children, Earl Lloyd Woolley (1899-1963), Hazel B (Woolley) Sutts (1902-1985), and Marion L (Woolley) Warner (1913-2003). She was an honorary member of the Women's Society of Christian Services and a charter and honorary member of the Hamilton-Asbury Gardens Auxiliary to Fitkin Memorial Hospital, Neptune, New Jersey. She died in 1953 and is buried in Hamilton Cemetery, Neptune, New Jersey. [4]

Research notes

Married name is Woolley, but husband's family may have been Wooley.

Fitikin seems like a strange name for a hospital,but that is correct. It is now Jersey Shore Medical Center.
